Privacy Policy
Last updated November 1, 2026 · IMAGE ONE CAMERA · Image One Camera & Video
In short
We collect what we need to quote, reserve, sell, develop, and repair — your contact details, your order and service records, and payment status. We never see or store your card number. We do not sell your information and we do not run advertising trackers. Developed film images stay private behind expiring links and emailed access codes.
Privacy requests: info@imageonecamera.com or (951) 977-8811.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
IMAGE ONE CAMERA (“we,” “us,” “our”) is the camera, lens, lighting, and production equipment rental, sales, film development, and repair business operated as Image One Camera & Video at 10495 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA 92505 and 809 N. Harbor Blvd., Fullerton, CA 92832.
This policy explains what information we collect on this website, in our rental and shop checkout flows, at our counters, and through the film lab and repair intake, and how we use, share, retain, and protect it. It applies to imageonecamera.com and to every page, form, and ordering flow we operate on it.
It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, including the manufacturers, retailers, and payment providers we reference or use. Those services have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, and the details of what you are asking for when you submit a rental request, make a reservation, place a shop order, drop off film, submit a repair request, join a waitlist, leave a testimonial, or contact us. For film orders we also collect your mailing address (address, city, state, ZIP) so we can identify and return your work.
Rental, order, and service records. The gear, dates, locations, quantities, rates, discounts, tax, deposits, and payment status of your reservations and shop orders; the film formats, print options, and special instructions on your film orders; and the item, serial number, accessories, reported issue, notes, status history, estimates, and payment record on your repairs.
Payment information. Card payments and security deposit authorizations are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive a payment status, an amount, and a reference identifier. If you choose to save a card for future rentals, Stripe stores it and gives us a token and the card's brand and last four digits. We never see or store your full card number, security code, or bank credentials.
Photos and files you upload. If you upload a profile or business logo with a rental request, or if you send us files in a message, we store them to process and fulfill your request. Images we develop for you in the film lab are stored privately and are released only through a short-lived access link or an emailed access code sent to the address on the order.
Information collected automatically. When you use the site we and our hosting provider may record your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, timestamps, and error logs. We use this to keep the site working, to keep it secure, and to understand which pages are used. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Information stored on your device. Your cart, saved favorites and wishlist, selected pickup location, light or dark theme preference, and the notifications you have dismissed are stored in your browser's local storage so the site works the way you left it. See “Cookies and similar technologies” below.
Account information. If you create an account, your name, email address, and password credential are handled by our authentication provider. Your rental, order, film, and repair history is linked to that account so you can review it in your profile.
3. How we use your information
To respond to your request and prepare a quote or reservation, including checking availability, confirming dates and pickup location, and contacting you with questions.
To fulfill rentals, sales, film development, and repairs: preparing agreements, verifying identity and pickup, authorizing and settling security deposits, charging for damage or loss, producing and releasing images, and keeping the operational records our business requires.
To communicate with you about your order: request acknowledgements, booking confirmations, receipts, film drop-off and ready-for-pickup notices, repair status updates, overdue and return reminders, pickup reminders, and back-in-stock alerts you asked for.
To keep the site and our records secure and reliable: preventing fraud and misuse, verifying payment, enforcing our Rental Terms & Conditions, debugging errors, and monitoring performance.
To improve our catalog, pricing, availability, and service, using aggregated and de-identified information about how our pages and offers perform.
To meet legal, tax, accounting, and insurance obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.
6. Film, images, and repair items
Film orders are handled with extra care. Developed images are held in private storage, not on a public URL. You reach them through a short-lived signed link or by entering an emailed access code that expires. Access codes are stored only as a one-way hash, and repeated wrong guesses are limited.
Staff contact notes on your film order, internal technician notes on your repair, and the item and issue you report are kept for the record of the work and are visible to our lab and management staff only.
We may keep a copy of images and repair records after pickup for the period described in “How long we keep information,” so we can answer questions, honor a reprint or rework, or resolve a dispute.
7. How long we keep information
Rental, sale, film, and repair records are kept as long as needed to serve you and then for the period our accounting, tax, insurance, and dispute-resolution needs require. Reservation and order records, agreements, and payment references are typically kept for at least seven years.
Developed images and repair records are kept while the order is active and for a reasonable follow-up period after pickup, then deleted or archived.
Waitlist and back-in-stock alerts are kept until they are fulfilled or you ask us to remove them. Contact messages and testimonial submissions are kept as long as needed to handle the request.
Browser storage (cart, favorites, theme, dismissed notifications) stays on your device until you clear it or it expires.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it, unless we are required to keep it.
8. How we protect information
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site, keep payment card data with our PCI-compliant payment processor rather than on our own systems, store uploaded files and developed images privately with short-lived access links, and limit staff access to the records each role needs.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
9. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the categories and sources, and the business purposes; to request a copy of it; to request that we correct inaccurate information; to request that we delete it; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes allowed by law (for example, securing your account or completing a payment).
To make a request, email info@imageonecamera.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request,” or call (951) 977-8811. Tell us which right you are exercising and enough about your rentals, orders, film, or repairs that we can locate your records. We will verify your identity before acting, typically by confirming details of a recent transaction or by contacting you through the email or phone number we already hold.
You may use an authorized agent. We may require written permission signed by you and may still contact you directly to verify the request. Requests are answered within the time required by law, and we will tell you if we need more time.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
10. Other US states and international visitors
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or opt out of certain uses of their personal information. Email info@imageonecamera.com and we will honor requests as required by the law that applies to you.
We operate in California and this site is intended for customers in the United States. If you contact us or order from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on your request or consent to process your information for the purpose you contacted us about.
11. Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 for marketing. Rentals and purchases must be made by someone legally able to enter a rental agreement. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email info@imageonecamera.com and we will delete it.
12. Your communication choices
Order messages are transactional. Confirmations, receipts, status updates, ready-for-pickup notices, and return and overdue reminders are part of the service you asked for and are sent to the email and phone number on your request or order, even if you have opted out of marketing.
Marketing and reminders you opted into. Waitlist and back-in-stock alerts, loyalty and promotional messages, and similar marketing email include an unsubscribe link, and you can stop text or phone follow-ups by telling us at (951) 977-8811 or info@imageonecamera.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages about an active rental, order, film drop-off, or repair.
You can also review and correct the contact details on your account in your customer profile at any time.
13. Trademarks and ownership
IMAGE ONE CAMERA, Image One Camera & Video, the Image One Camera name, logo, and the design of this site are trademarks and copyrights of Image One Camera & Video. All rights are reserved. You may not use our names, logos, or site content without our prior written permission.

Product specifications, availability, and pricing are subject to change and may contain errors.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we handle your personal information, we will post a clear notice on this site or contact you using the email address we hold before the change takes effect.
